Rib soreness and Abdominal bloating.
I'm a month and a week out of my
Catheter
Ablation
and I'm experiencing soreness in my right ribcage and my abdomen feels full and bloated. Almost as if I ate a big meal. Has anyone else experiencing any of these symptoms? Don't if it from the ablation or medication or maybe none of the above.

Mini- Maze vs Catheter Ablation
Some of you great people had responded to someone’s question about how the mini maze works on the outside of heart and the
Catheter
ablation
inside the heart. Comments like when working inside the heart it damages some important tissue? I’ve tried searching and can’t find the info.

Post ablation - enter site swelling
I had a
catheter
ablation
on Thursday and I noticed this morning that the area around the entrance site in my groin is quite swollen. I don't have pain, blood or bruising.

Groin pain from catheter ablation
Harefield hospital carried out an ablation for AF and flutter Jan 2023. There was a black area of my groin/thigh that was black. Since the operation I get a dull inner pain in my thigh going down my leg a few inches. This problem / annoyance does not effect my activities and I am only aware of it when

a week later
I was diagnosed with AF 7 years ago while at our holiday home in Spain and had the
catheter
ablation
5 years ago in Switzerland our main home. I wrote last week that I had a cold and thought I was back in AF after being free for 5 years and in Spain again.

Proposed ablation next week. 48 Yr old. PAF
Hi all, I have been on waiting list for a
catheter
ablation
for over a year. They called me today and offered an ablation next week at a private hospital instead. Has taken me a bit by surprise to be honest. My AF is paroxysmal and generally very tolerable.

post ablation
I had a
catheter
ablation
at Bart’s in London ten days ago. I am told it was successful and to expect the odd ectopic beat for up to 8 weeks. Last night I went into atrial fibrillation and I was somewhat shocked and upset as I didn’t think I would get a full episode.

Palpitations worse after ablation
Good evening everyone, I’m really struggling after my
catheter
ablation
10 days ago. The palpitations and ectopics I’m experiencing are awful. So different to the palpitations I was having before my ablation. They are very erratic. I have Dilated Cardiomyopathy and AVNRT.

cancelled ablation
I was having a
catheter
ablation
next Wednesday, but they rang me this morning, saying it’s cancelled because of the Doctors strike. I am so cross. I have been waiting for this for well over a year and was gearing myself up for it and now I have no idea when it will take place.
