It is Friday again and it brings a change in the weather. Autumn is on it's blustery way again. With it brings thoughts of crunching through fallen leaves, wrapping up warmly when out walking and cosy nights in front of the fire. It also brings thoughts of having the flu vaccine to keep us all healthy through the winter months. Next week is also National Eye Health week (24th - 30th) so there is a chance to get a health check even in your own home, if you can't get your loved one to an optician.
Is there anything that you would like to share with us all? Something positive maybe or perhaps there is something bothering you about the past week that you would like to share with us. We would like to hear from you.
As this week has been challenging I was trying to think of something more positive and came across this - so I thought I would share it with you all.
Think like a Proton and stay Positive.
Best wishes to all and have a good weekend.

I love autumn but know that winter is just around the corner. I tend to get a little anxious about keeping Pete well but we do have our flu jabs booked for 6/10.
Our granddaughter had her 4th birthday yesterday so that was fun.
Hope everyone stays well and has a good weekend. Xxx
Hi MAS_Nurse,
It has indeed been a very blustery couple of days, heralding the real end of summer. Like you and sassy59 I'm actively looking forward to the 'season of mists and mellow fruitfulness'. In some respects though, the shortening of the days, and the change in the weather tend to make me nostalgic for the past and sometimes even just a tiny bit melancholy.
So although it's beautiful and seasonal treats are ahead, I try not to get too wistful. I think getting outside in that lovely crisp autumn air is the way to go. Keep busy and keep energised and keep looking forward, not back. So, to 'think like a proton and stay positive' seems great advice.
