Hello everyone and welcome to Feel Good Friday. How has your week been? We would like to hear how you all are. Either way, if it has been positive, or not so positive, we would like for you to share it with us. Our baby grandson is cutting his first tooth and is not very happy. It must be so painful. We saw him yesterday and he is growing so fast. He looks lovely in his Winnie The Pooh pyjamas.
I have found this quote which I think is very positive. Please share your news with us, we are listening.
"Start by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible." [Francis of Assisi].
Best wishes to you all and have a good week.

Hello MAS_Nurse, we’ve been out a bit this week just shopping mainly. Had lunch out yesterday which was very nice but it’s a bit cold today and slippery underfoot.
Our little grandson has 4 teeth so far and he’s 13 months. Hope your grandson is doing well.
Wishing everyone a good weekend. Stay warm, safe and well. Xxxx
Hello MAS_Nurse. I lost my mum about three weeks ago she was dehydrated as a result of Subcortical Vascular dementia and my dad and I are still in tears.
Hi Sassy59,I am sorry to hear about your mother in law and her deteriorating health. I hope you will continue to post on this caring forum where you will receive support from other members.
Hi paula191, I am sorry to hear your sad news. Please accept our condolences to you, your dad and the rest of the family. Do please continue to post on this caring forum for support from other members.
Hi Paula. So sorry to hear about your mom. Vascular dementia and associated conditions such a cruel disease. Am finding it difficult to watch my mom deteriorate, and as much as I don't want to lose her, hate to see the toll this disease is taking on her poor bod! Hugs sent to you x

Hi paula191,
I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of the death of your beloved mum. It's hard to bear, I know, and there aren't really any words that can comfort you. But please know that I, and I'm sure many, of our Care group are thinking of you, and I hope that will be a small solace to you.

Thanks a lot. X
A great quote MAS_Nurse. It's up there with the 'the longest journey starts with a single step'. Sometimes it's harder than hard to actually make that step, but it's amazing what can be achieved when we do.
I hope the little one is soon feeling happier. Teething can be a miserable time for a baby. Hope Winnie-the-Pooh pyjamas will help a tiny bit! As will all your love for him!
For myself, this week I'm just so happy to put January behind me. OK 1st Feb is just another date on the calendar really, but it brings with it a hint of promise for longer evenings, the first tiny flowers of the year, and maybe even a hint of warmth as we move towards spring. Here's hoping!
Hi MAS Nurse. Week started well thx and nurses allowed mom out of bed for few hours a day and we actually got her dressed. Unfortunately by Thursday noticed pressure sore on bottom had started to worsen slightly, so she's back in bed again. Wondering if she will now be permanently bedridden? On plus point, as I had been feeling so tired I asked for blood test, however all came back ok except slightly raised cholesterol. That's something I can address so not stressing. Lovely to hear about new little people thriving. Good job we don't remember cutting our teeth!! Bestest to all x
Hello MAS_Nurse, having a great week so far. I am bipolar and have just been to see my psychiatrist having had a manic episode. He was wonderful as always. The only downside is that he is leaving the NHS to go work in Canada. Leicestershire will miss you Dr Vaze, brilliant at your job and a wonderful human being.
