Good Morning Everyone,
Where has the week gone! It's Friday again and time to turn our minds to Carer's Week beginning on the 11th June. Everywhere over the UK groups are getting together to raise awareness of all our 'unsung heroes' - People just like you all, who are caring for loved ones.
I have mentioned before that I use music when I feel stressed, struggling with a caring role. Well, a friend and colleague found this so I thought this Friday I would share it with you.
According to science here are the 10 most 'feel good' songs ever:-
Don't stop me now - Queen.
Dancing Queen - ABBA.
Good Vibrations - The Beach Boys.
Uptown Girl - Billie Joel.
Eye of the Tiger - Survivor.
I'm a Believer - The Monkees.
Girls Just Want To Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper.
Livin on a Prayer - Bon Jovi.
I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor.
Walking on Sunshine - Katrina & The Waves.
Apparently there is a formula -something to do with looking at lyrics, tempo in beats per minutes and key. These can be played at any time, but just typing them and reading them back made me smile.
Maybe you have a different favourite feel good song that you may like to share with us? Do you? We would love to hear from you about anything that helps you.
Best wishes for the coming week end and week.
MAS Nurse.
