I am now 58 & at present having a fibromyalgia flare up which only have movement of my lower left arm & both legs do not work they have gone weak & unable to even raise then I can normally weight bare to transfer to my wheelchair but unable to at present, how long this will last I am not sure as first time it has happened since my diagnosis back in 1993 of fibromyalgia, its just been pain in the past.
I have 5 types of arthritis fibromyalgia is just one of them.
I was told many years ago by my rheumatologist that my flare up would get worse as I get older but did not realise it would happen at my age.
Does any one else suffer from this condition my age or older if so what do you do when this happens my GP (family doctor) has been out to see me & because of the amount of pain relive that I take can not help me.
Many thanks Kenny x.

Tried both physiotherapy & unable to do exercises because of all the arthritis conditions that I have makes my conditions worse, and massages send my body into severe spasms.
I am on 18 different types of medication, with me having over 20 conditions I need them to keep me alive, the doctor said he could not help me as I am on the right type of medication even though when having a flare the pain is very bad only helps with 40% of the pain.
