what is going on?

I m increasingly breathless but phlegm not green or yellow; More of it but I don’t think it’s a chest infection. What could it be?

Hi you may get more help if you repost on the lung conditions forum. You would usually have green mucus if you have an infection. If it’s outside you are getting breathless it could be down to the cold weather. Probably best to check with your doctor if it’s bothering you.

Mucous increase at times,I've found to be normal4me,& winters not best time.how's yr asthma as that too can increase it.do u do lung clearance sessions x

Thank you. Yes, my asthma is worst at the moment and I am doing my lung clearance more often so I guess I will just manage it unless my mucus changes.

Do you have acid reflux? I’ve developed it, after my bronch diagnosis. Twice it’s caused me to feel like I couldn’t get enough air. I thought that it was a lung problem, but it was acid reflux.

Also, after working on dusty cleaning projects, I’ve gone out for a walk, but couldn’t breathe well. Took me a while to realize it was the dust affecting my lungs, not the bronch.
