has anyone have a Fibro scan that was wrong? I had one at a liver road show last Oct, cap was 188, kpa 15.8, I then had a load of bloods which were normal, uss completely normal. I am a bit of a weekend drinker, and the week before the scan had been in Cyprus and drunk quite a lot, and 2 days before the scan had been out drinking, I had also eaten an hour before. The liver reg was a bit confused as my Fibro scan was so high but blood and uss normal, so I’m have a repeat Fibro scan on Monday, I’m just absolutely terrified about having it done and the results, I’m praying the first scan was wrong, I’m just really scared

Fibro can over estimate especially if you have a high BMI
