Had 7mm nodule on liver just got a letter doesn't say much

Had a small 7mm nodule on liver on ct scan so had to go for an mri to asses it 3months late had the mri on 8th of February just got a letter near 6 weeks later just got it today 20th March it just says .you recently underwent an mri to further asses a small nodule on your liver the report recommends that you require an mri scan in 6 months for further assessment of this area but nothing else no other results are anything thought would have been a bit of details don't get me wrong I'm happy enough that something major was found are i would assume they would let me know 🤔

From that is sounds like they are not ultra concerned and are just recommending it needs re-checking in 6 months to make sure it hasn't changed, grown or become something of concern.

my experience is if they find something scary, they will get you back asap. the fact you're on a 6 month screen sounds good

Thank you waiting 6 week for results is the worse bit the girl who did the mri said probably get results about 2 weeks as you say 6 months is a good outcome my mind thinks all sorts thanks for reply 👍

I have a small nodule on my liver. Have had it quite a number of years. I had MRI s initially every 6 months but now have ultrasounds. Try not to worry. It is hard I know. But the hospital are monitoring you.
