fibroscan today

lady who did it was excellent and explained everything,if anyone on here is waiting for it and unsure what it is then this is how she told me-basically were testing for stiffness and the flick of the machine makes it wobble and mine was wobbling fine she said(big weight iff my mind)then we check for fatty deposits and when the score is 280 or above then thats the problem zone and mine was 277 which is really down to diet to sort and exercise, really pleased with results and happy to be told that any damage can be reversed so get crimbo out the way and hopefully have the willpower to do something about it,hope anyone else having this gets similar results

That's great news. Hopefully that will spur you on. Always wonderful to get a positive result, especially before the festive season.Sadly, they couldn't perform a fibroscan on me. The lady lied and said it wasn't due to my weight but my liver being "too far back", which means there is too much fat in front of it.

You are very brave doing that diet. I don't think I could stick it. Is it the shake and soup one? I lost 2 stones a year ago before the Fibroscan incident. I put some on after a bereavement followed by a serious case of pneumonia. I have recently lost what I gained, plus yet just over another stone. I am classed as type 2 but with liver issues it's more about the liver dumping extra glycogen which ordinary type 2 sufferers don't have. Anyhow, onwards and upwards.

Yeh 4 products a day it was hard but I cheated a smidge haha but felt better for it only ive let it go and put some back on,its an absolute bastard that what you like is bad for you☹️if i had my way I would live on pie and whisky and cadburys dairy milk, sometimes you don’t give a shit and have whatever you want and then the pain on your right side kicks in to say come on dickhead and for awhile I ignore it and then look at my kids and think your better than this and don’t drink and diet but chuff me it’s miserable, but above all i try to keep my chin up😁

one of my worst traits is my last reply to you and answering but not looking at what you put😁its not on purpose, weight is a big factor on health and so easy to get but fookin hard to lose and throw in an illness and bereavement then chuff me the fridge and snack cupboard is king but as said i try to keep my chin up and laugh(today i met the bloke who invented zero and he was really bragging so I said thanks for nothing)boom boom 😆
