Hi folks, I had a fibroscan 2 years ago and have a new appointment tomorrow morning. I was wondering if anyone else who has had one has seen their readings have lowered. I have been abstinent from Alcohol and Cigarettes since being diagnosed with Cirrhosis 3 years ago and lost 5+ stone in weight due to healthy diet and exercise. Just wondering if it's possible for liver stiffness readings to reduce.
Appreciate your replies.

Yes it may very well be lower this time after all your positive changes. People here have posted that. Are you having ultrasounds as well? Best of luck and great job!
Thanks for your reply and concern. I've been for it today, it's gone down from 20.4 to 10.9. Doctors really pleased and said if I lose a bit more weight then there's no reason why it can't go down further. CAP score is higher but said that it was due to excess fat around the liver so need to get rid of it if possible . They're more concerned about the kpa score though.
