I had a Fibroscan recently, offered at work, my Kpa was 15.8 cap 188, just had blood work done, all normal, awaiting viral and autoimmune bloods. I do like a drink at the weekends, bit of a binge drinker, but I’m not really drinking through the week. I absolutely terrified by the result! I’m seeing my GP tomorrow to discuss things

Fibroscan
Ask about getting an imaging scan to get a visual 'look' at the liver - normal bloods and CAP which reveals next to no fatty liver doesn't scream out alcohol related liver disease.
When you say the fibroscan was offered at work was it done after you'd eaten rather than fasted? I ask because eating before a fibroscan can affect accuracy.
Hopefully your doctor can arrange further tests to determine whether you do have some fibrosity going on or not.
Binge drinking isn't great for your liver health and if this fibroscan score is accurate you need to give your liver the best chance of recovery by reassessing your booze intake. (Even if it's not alcohol related an unhappy liver needs lots of TLC to prevent worsening).

hi
I has eaten lunch about half hour before the scan, the nurse wasn’t convinced it was alcohol either due to the low fat score, so I have no idea, thyroid, lipids and diabetes bloods all normal, just got to wait for the other bloods, I’m vaccinated against hep B, and I can’t imagine I would have hep C so who knows
This is why an imaging scan is important because that fibroscan result may be completely null and void (or a repeat fibroscan after fasting). You may indeed have little to nothing going on with your liver - normal bloods, no fatty liver ??? Your result may be a false high due to having eaten so recently before the scan.
NHS documents on preparation for Fibroscan state :-
How should I prepare for the scan?
Food and drink
You must not eat anything for three hours before your Fibroscan.
You can continue to drink small sips of water or clear fluid up until your scan, but you must not drink large amounts."
It definitely sounds like more info is needed to figure out what might be going on. Perhaps an ultrasound to see how things look and if it looks ok then maybe a second fibroscan. Try not to pre-worry. I do that too but wish I didn't. I'm glad you don't have a long wait to talk to your GP.
Stop the booze for now would be a good idea, although as already stated, its not inline with a fatty swelling Alcohol Liver.
Have you have the LFTs ? Any GGT, ALT, AST spikes ?
Eating food can make it stiffer, but not sure about up 15kpa from normal.
