Hi, I’ve been on vedoliximub injections for a year and recent blood tests shown my creative levels as high as 95! Should I be worried! Does this mean the medication is damaging mg kidnsys?
I was on adaliminum for 10 years for UC but I now have liver cirrhosis as the medication damaged my liver!!!!
im now worried the vedoljzimib is affecting my kidney? I have a conversation with my liver consultant today so will be asking if any further investigations can be.carried out?
Any advice would be appreciated

I know it's worrying but in this case Google creatinine 95 and you can find the reference range for UK or wherever you live. Failing that, then your liver consultant should be able to ease your worries 🙂
A creatinine in and of itself is not entirely relevant. What you need to know is the eGFR, which is calculated from the creatinine. This is a more accurate measurement of renal function as such, and is calculated as a routine process. Normal is >90, but levels down to 50 can be seen depending upon fluid balance, medication etc.
okay, I can understand your apprehension. The urine tests I suspect will be to see if there is any chronic kidney disease, and if so to categorise it. The best treatment for kidney disease is to control blood pressure, and manage any diabetes if present. In any case good luck, and I am sure that the situation is manageable
