URSO and Fatigue

Question about URSO….is it really better to take your dose at two different times? I read that the liver works the bile through your body more while you are sleeping. I am much better at remembering by medication in the morning, as sometimes I am not home at dinner time.

Is it ok to take it all at once? 750 mg

Also, wondering about the fatigue….does it lighten up after your body gets accustomed to Urso? I still have days where i need to sleep more, but i think they are becoming fewer! I was worried about traveling internationally as i wouldn’t want to impose on my hostess by wanting to sleep so much.

When first prescribed Urso, I took it in two doses with food. (1000mg) Late morning and evening.

I asked my consultant last week if I could take it altogether and she said absolutely no problem. So now I take it with my breakfast/brunch.

It is usually suggested you take it in two doses so your body can tolerate it better but I didn’t have any side effects anyway.

Dear Gaspereaux

This is a question that your own health care professional is best placed to answer, as only they have access to your medical records.

We suggest talking this through with your own doctor or health care professional in the first instance.

Best wishes

I certainly intend to do that, but I am on vacation and will not be until May. Thank you.
