I’m Rob, I have been having regular blood tests for the last five years for NAFLD, finally had a FibroScan last week and result is 14 KPA. I am a non-smoker and I don’t drink and trying to manage it through healthy living.
I was told that I need to eat healthy and clean because GP was worried about my liver levels via various blood tests and then being referred to hospital for a FibroScan. The FibroScan results have come back very high at 14KPA. Please can anyone give me any advice about this and if this is serious or is it manageable? I have not been given any information, it is above the remit of my GP and I await my consultation which is another 5 weeks away.
Can anybody give any advice or tips to help me understand this diagnosis?
Many thanks,
Rob
