Hi All. My partner has been diagnosed with cirrhosis. he has a few mild symptoms, bloated stomach, spider veins, erectile dysfuction, loss of appetite. He has now developed a yellow tongue with fissures. Has anyone else had this? Is it related to cirrhosis as I cant find anything about it online, its mostly talking about yellow eyes. jaundice. Thankyou in advance

My hubby has had a couple of bouts of oral thrush and certainly has a yucky coated tongue. GP should be able to prescribe an anti fungal for it. NOT Daktarin Gel/miconazole (liver unit had a hairy fit when they found GP had given my hubby that as it can seriously mess with liver numbers). Nystatin is what liver unit prescribed for hubby.

Yes I have lost a stone in weight in about a year. They don't do anything about my liver fibrosis. I have just learned to live with it all!!!
