i began with the intention of having an alcohol free year after a fibroscan reading of 13.4 .i didnt totally succeed with my daughters wedding et al .however even after my lapses my fibroscan readin g .yesterday was 11.6 y mri results are also good so iam pleasde but intend to carry on having another"alcohol free " year and this timebe more successful. p.s i still go to pubs with a lovely social life which enriches me and no im not temp.ted to drink booze while there.to others who have been told they were approaching early cirrhosis keep on trying and the feeling of success outweighs any of "feeel like a beer" .

Well done on remaining abstinent. It is the only way. Better not even to have it on occasion. I commend anyone who is staying away from a drink and having another day of clarity. Keep it in the day.

Wishing you the best. Keep going and stay strong 💪.
