Just been put on transplants list its been 14 months off drink now, its been a long battle just the last bit left still a bit worried about the operation but they done thousands off them do in good hands reading peoples stories on here gave me the will power to stop in the first place, all the people that stopped drinking saying how well they feel without the drink made me stop hope it will help others to try to stop to, just a phone call away now for the last bit of a hard battle thanks to everyone who wrote there stories on here it was a huge help

Hi Ion first thing REALLY WELL DONE with giving up the booze, that is hard work people don’t know unless they have gone through it my last drink was nearly 20 years ago but I do remember 👍. Waiting for the new liver is a bugger 🤣 but well worth it, I had my transplant 6 weeks ago and I feel great ,a massive thank you to the donor . Good luck to you I hope it comes soon 🤞.

Stay safe All

Good news! You’ve come this far doing the right thing and caring for yourself. Great job on abstaining from alcohol. Keep going and don’t ever look back!

Best wishes

wow! 14 months! I’m coming up on a 12 month milestone. Yes, my whole world has changed without my ‘support system in a bottle’. For the better!

Your on the list! Well done! Not everyone gets on the list, so you have shown clearly your determination to live well! Yes, there are moments, when I think “hmmmm? Could murder a Pinot “. But it passes.

The people here are very supportive and understanding. It makes a big difference, no one needs to be going it alone!

I wish you all the very best! Keep us posted, let us know how things progress.
