Thank you to all for your support - we need it to drag or butts over line.

Congratulations, now take it easy, don't try to rush your recovery, it generally takes a year to recover from liver transplant surgery, it took a one of the most complicated surgery there is. I'm 6 years post.If you use Facebook please feel free to join our friendly and knowledgeable Facebook group called liver transplant support uk, thousands of people that have been in your situation.

Hi all

Your good wishes are really appreciated.

I am very slow moving around, but I have adopted a serene "can achieve anything" look to hide behind!!😀

No idea on COPD/asthma Bettina 😕

Hi still with my new liver👍👍

Amazing recovery since getting home, small amout of pain only. Scar now closed up and healing. Blood stats are back all black on the screen for the first time in 2 years, no reds/blues and 100% relying on liver - no old meds to support body. Just new anti rejection drugs (which they have been reducing each week after weekly blood tests).

Took a week or two to get mobile, but now back walking, shopping, driving - LIVING!

Still one day at a time and not counting my chickens (but using idioms like they have gone out of fashion). Brief update complete 😀 Drink free 14 months now......
