The end of the road for my brother

last week I sat holding my 57 year old brother’s hand whilst he passed away from a complication due to alcoholic liver disease. I cared for him for 3 years and it was very hard. Just wanted to say thanks as this site has been useful when I was doing research re transplants.

Sorry for your loss. I too lost a brother to alcoholic cirrhosis nearly 10 years ago. Please take care of yourself, it will be hard for some time, but you will get through. Your brother was lucky to have you helping him. xx
