latest US

Hey guys,not checked in for a while. Just had my latest ultrasound report and it say...

The liver is course in texture and is slightly increased in echogenicity with is consistent with mild fatty infiltration.

But my diagnosis is cirrhosis. Interesting.

No significant change.

Last one was heterogeneous cirrhotic liver.

So my question is,could my liver have MPD(Multi Personality Disorder)?

1. Ultrasound is based on human judgment.

2. It is always good to show previous ultrasound to compare with latest. It should be done by doctor performing test.

I found:

It says...... course liver in keeping with mild fatty infiltration.

Last one said...heterogeneous cirrhotic liver

Pancreas is course and lobulated on US

Pancreas Unremarkable on triple phase CT

hello there. my ultrasounds ,Well the sonographers,have always said. that I have a course echo texture,liver is hard,and shrunken. I have cirrhosis,esld. all the best chris

No one test is perfect, not even the former "gold standard" liver biopsy.

Yeah I understand that,it was more the difference in my two US reports that I was alluding too.

liver biopsy isn't always right because they take a small sample, have seen people misdiagnosed with this too. I would show the 2 reports to my hept. doc, maybe your liver has gotten a little better, anything is possible with liver disease once you remove the cause and eat food good for the liver.
