Yes, but take all the steps you can to tackle the fatty liver - healthy diet and exercise.
There's a lot of muscle pain and shortness of breath when I walk and because off my avascular necrosis of both hip's and a inguinal hernia my orthopaedics appointment has been cancelled 4 times now and they haven't given me a date yet after the last cancellation I do around 5 thousand steps a day
Hiya. That is certainly great news. I have compensated cihrossis. I did have compensated cihrossis and nearly died of hepatic encephalopathy and multiple organ failure in July 2021 (my hepatic consultant thinks that Covid may have played a part in all of this but she's not totally sure). I have never had a drink since.
I would stop worrying if it were me. Relax. No booze. A better diet as in cut out fatty foods and eat better and more healthily. And enjoy life. You don't want to end up like me at the age of 50 with multiple organ failure nigh on, in intensive care on a ventilator. In a coma for 5 weeks.
AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE. I'M LUCKY TO BE HERE. My son aged 28 saved my life. And I'm so grateful to him. He is wonderful and I am truly blessed to have such an amazing son. And happy to be ALIVE AND LIVING IT WITHOUT THE ALCOHOLIC HAZE. AND IT FEELS GOOD TOO.
Congratulations to you. Excellent news. And try and stop worrying.
Have a beautiful and happy day. Hugs Golly
Thanks for the reply, and sorry to hear about your situation.
So nice to read a well balanced reply from someone who has the disease. Best of luck with your health.
