Spleenless now

FWIW I had a splenectomy 3 weeks ago and am now recovering well thankyou. My surgeon told me that my spleen had been the size of a small baby, it had weighed 2.5 kg. I’ll ask him for an actual size (mm) next time I see him. It had been 5 years between first identifying a 14percent enlargement and diagnosing lymphoma in March 2021.

Hi and welcome,

We are glad you are recovering well from your operation. Did you mean to post here? do you have a liver condition as well?

Best wishes.

No sorry, it should have been posted under lymphomas or non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Mea culpa.
