Telephone appointment

Hi all, hope you’re as well as can be. Finally had mine telephone app with QE (cancelled twice due to COVID) explained in still having issues with pale stool, fatigue, red palms, low wbc, high ferritin, high ggt, rib and back pain etc.. he said he will do a ultrasound on the day to check gallbladder, another fibroscan to see if liver has got any worse and some bloods, a mini MOT as he put it 🙂 he said will take about 6 weeks for appointment which I think is pretty good! He also said about referring me to a dietitian? All new to me.

Hi Kyan49. My husband is having a CT scan at the QE tomorrow, had a letter yesterday to say that the telephone appointment to tell him his results next week has been cancelled, was this your experience

Hiya, I was supposed to be seen in clinic start of year, then that was changed to telephone call, then that got cancelled twice. Luckily my phone call yesterday went ahead. He just explained it was because of COVID etc which is understandable.. as frustrating as it may be . I’ll be glad to see him face to face in 6weeks or so

Hi ktan, Husband back from scan, just a waiting game for when the consultant gets back to him, can l ask who your consultant is, if you don’t mind me asking. 😚
