MRI said the liver is normal, how come elevated liver enzymes?

Hello folks. After the Gallagher surgery I had pain and MRI was done. Liver is normal, no bile ducts blockage . Why do I feel sick 2.5 months after tge surgery. Why my GGT is 124 and other enzymes are high a month after MRI. I am asking doctors all the questions but I have no answers... just waiting for fibroscan apparently for fatty liver. Why didn't MRI say nothing?

MRI would only show if there was actual damage to the liver or if there were blockages etc. Just because one enzyme is raised doesn't mean you've actually got liver damage just that something is out of sync somewhere.
