Hi LaurenIt may sound daft but have a look at your shoes. I was getting pain in my ankle and was shocked to see on checking for causes that my shoes were very worn down on the edge meaning I am walking badly. This could be the cause of what I think is tendonitis. I have in the past suffered with plantar fasciitis as I worked standing up for eight hours a day and also, since my diagnosis with AIH, suffered with gout in my hand. My doctor added uric acid to my blood test list and it was double what it should have been.
But as I am an old lady of 73, I am never sure if these little irritants are due to AIH or just old age.
Hi poppy, it can be but unless you've had cirrhosis for a while then its probably not very likely to be liver related. However, cit is something you should get checked out with your gp. There are a number of things that could cause this so it best to err on the safe side and go get it checked out.
