Whilst that score is in the cirrhosis range it could be a false high. Fibroscan is notorious for not being able to tell the difference between inflammation in the liver and actual fibrosis. Some people with inflammation get a false elevated fibroscan score so fibroscan alone doesn't reveal the full/accurate picture. Certainly it should be checked alongside your most recent bloods - if they are showing elevations in ALT, AST, ALP etc. it's possible it's an inflated/inaccurate kPa score.

Are you 3 months post transplant or 18 months post transplant? that line of your post doesn't quite make sense. Are you 18 months post t/p but your PBC reared its ugly head after 3 months?
