My daughter had EBV when a teenager and she was very poorly with it, I don’t remember feeling as bad as that in the period of 2 months ago, unless it has raised its head after infection from years back. Hep E don’t know too much about it except what I have Googled. ALT gone up to 500 from previous 205

Hello,
It is quite possible to be completely without symptoms when you have EBV. Here is a link to our hepatitis E information:

I hope you are being monitored regularly particularly with regard to your blood tests as you say the ALT is going up.
regards

I have my scan on Monday and I am waiting for the specialist to arrange an appointment my GP has arranged for me. So I am being monitored. I am categorised as urgent apparently when I phoned the specialist phone line my GP gave for the hospital which apparently means I am up to 8 weeks for being seen.
Good, it sounds like you are receiving the appropriate care and investigations. Keep us posted.
regards
In addition to my previous comment - it is important not to just assume that it is the Hep E that is causing the elevation in your blood levels.
