Hello Alf and Anne I am so sorry I have not been in touch of late not been great but hay that's the way it goes with us, as you well know, anyway I have done things a bit day by day and yes Sir my little Greenhouse did me proud again lots of Q's stacks of toms almost 12-13 pounds masses of green beans Cobra by name, no pealing just top and tail which all my neighbors appreciated still have lots of Rhubarb I am sharing out, everything disappeared as if by magic. this last wk I started the clean up of the little greenhouse so all my pots and equipment is now sitting on a nice clean flagstone floor washed ironed and ready for next year... Alf I hope everything is going to be good for you bloody disease (Sorry but on times I do have a bit of a cry) it seems that only the very best of people get this horrid thing to deal with. SOOO enough I am sure you will be fine just as I will be in a little while, Alf I know I have been a bit naughty not keeping up with my posts but sometimes I do feel rather exhausted and I must admit unsure of the future, but hay onward and upward as they say... I hope my little greenhouse will be in use next year. you make sure Anne that himself does exactly what he is told and keep a good eye on him.. stay well and safe both of you lots of love and stuff

Sorry that you haven't been too well lately. You are more than entitled to have your down moments. Bloody disease is very polite, I'm sure that I called it a lot worse over the years that I suffered I'm glad that you are being upbeat and making the most of the better days.
You've been doing a brilliant job with your greenhouse and amazingly organised in that you are all cleaned and cleared up and ready for next year.
Next year you must plant some marrow seeds and we can have a contest for who can grow the biggest and we can enjoy some courgettes and marrows along the way
Anne says no worries about her keeping a close eye on me, she is also three steps ahead of me and knows instinctively when I'm about to do something that I shouldn't, lol.
My flower tubs and pots are still looking great although they take a lot of watering through this warm spell as they are so full of root now and have used up all the goodness from the compost. They appreciate this weather rather than the belting hot days that we had during the summer. Hopefully they will go on for another month before we have to empty them out.
Don't ever worry about not keeping up with posts it's just good to hear from you when you feel able to post.
You keep that positive spirit going and take care of yourself as I know that you do plenty for others.
Stay safe,
Love from us both.

Hi Isabelle, O yes it is a thing I insist on I know it may seem petty to some folk but it gives me so much pleasure growing simple nice thing's so I can share, one of my neighbours is 9l next month and on his own unfortunately he has lost a great deal of his sight so a bit of fresh produce he really appreciates the taste, I fell my little greenhouse and a few hanging baskets brightens up everyone. "Come on now shoulder to the wheel" it wont take long a bit at a time is my motto.... enjoy your boarders. all my very best wishes..
