Hey Paderico.

I'm fine, just been mega busy. Anne and I have removed an old ten mile hedge, roots, trunks and all (slight exaggeration on the length, LOL ) redecorated the lounge and done a load of rewiring whilst trying to keep up with the day to day stuff.

I've had a quick read on the forum now and then and seen how well you are doing with your greenhouse :-) :-)

I'm sorry to say that the family of squirrels that live in the Magic Faraway Tree at the end of my garden have eaten every single red currant and every walnut off my tree :-( :-( I've covered my blueberries with netting, I'm determined to sample something that I've grown this year :-) :-)

You sound like you've been feeding the whole neighbourhood :-) :-) They will be sending you orders next year :-) :-)

I have good days and bad as far as my joints are concerned but I do believe that through persevering that my back muscles are getting stronger and helping to support my spine better than they have been doing since my accidents. I just have to remember not to overdo things :-) :-) :-)

My liver clinic has disappeared while we have been in lockdown. I was doing very well and so was transferred to my local hospital. My Local hospital is now classed as a "Green hospital" and deals with cancer treatments and cancer operations only. All the other clinics have been outed to elsewhere, some to mobile units. so I've yet to find out where my clinic will be. I've had to phone and ask because I think I've been lost in the system in my transfer. I have a phone appointment with a haematology specialist next week, so hopefully he can let me know where my clinic will be.

I hope that you are doing well? You are certainly keeping active and that's good, plus all your neighbours are enjoying the fruits of your labour :-) :-)

Keep on keeping on Paderico, we all enjoy reading of your bountiful achievements :-) :-) All the very best to you from us both :-) :-)

Hello you, please stop doing 2 much, number one it is scary when I don't read that you have been on the forum and sometimes when I imagine all the gardening you do and the work indoors you will be wearing yourself out. Its OK if the squirrels nick the fruit and stuff awwww they live there after all. You can have all the blueberries you want Alf after all you deserve them. I hope they don't take you 2 far away from home at this new hospital, I never felt safe at my London hospital but I didn't mind so much my local hospital (I could catch a bus home if I got frightened) just joking. Now the next installment will be Paderico and the Bean Stalks....... so as I know you will be sat on the edge of your seat I will keep you updated..... stay well and try to be good...

Regards to both.

Morning Paderico.

Sorry if I worried you with my absence. I didn't realise how long it had been since my last post. Time flies when I get stuck into a project.

I will be very interested to know how the beans turn out.

Knowing you they will be magic beans that feed the locals :-) Just make sure that you get a few portions yourself after your labour of love growing them. Make sure that you talk to them too. You can say what you like to a green bean and it won't take offence :-) :-)

Have a lovely sunny garden day.

all good wishes : -) :-)

Can you ask some of your green beans to sign up to this forum?

😇

Hi CoCoChannel although I do use your perfume, no guarantee here I am afraid my beans only work for magical people but I will have a word, have a good evening.

Hi Alf. Yes Christmas is a bit of a headache November and December especially. Our 3 Son's were born in November. One of our Grandsons was born in December. 4 of our Greatgranddauugh's .Then Our 5 Geratgrandsons were born iin November .Now this new little Fella is due on Nov 10th., that's his Granddad's Birthday,( Our Son ).I think this year I'm gonna put some money in the Birthday Cards and get some little Christmas wallets from Amazon. for the little uns.All we have to do then ,is put some money in each of them. 💶💷💲. Shouldn't take too long to fill all the envelopes up,that's if I use all 50 pencil pieces

Look after each other. Glo xx. .

Sounds a good idea about the collecting of 50p pieces. At the moment though we don't seem to be dealing with notes and coins as much. I'm finding it much more difficult to get change , most people want card payments rather than having to deal with real cash. I bought something for £1.29 last week and was asked if I could pay by card. 6 months ago I'd have been frowned at for paying by card for such a piddling amount. How times change!

So good luck with those 50ps Glo

:-) :-)

You're right there Alf. How things have changed, and not for the better. A few years back we used to give all the Grandchildren and Greatgrandchildren £50 each for their Birthday and for Christmas. But altogether there's 14 of them now. .I'm not doing it this year, we can't keep up with it all. They're all gonna have a Shock this year with all the 50 pence pieces. Thats if I can collect enough. They'll probably think it's play money. 💰.😆Gotta go now Alf. Dont feel too good. Only been out of hospital a week after having Abdominal Surgery. My Fibro have been a real b...h. I think that the one thing have made the other one worse.🤔 Oooh. Goodnight Godbless Alf.🤗 Glo xx.

Hi Glo,

Hope that you're feeling a bit better. Abdominal surgery takes some getting over.

Take it easy and look after yourself.

All good wishes.
