I’ve been away for a bit as we have moved house. I mentioned it once I think but was told by someone it was off topic! Well today it isn’t.
I am happy to say I have signed up with a gp in the next village who seems fine and my parisien specialist is getting the info needed to the hépatologie dept in Rouen which is 30 mins away.
I love, love, love the house but the move was a bit complicated. Since I have had a time in bed with sciatica (first time ever) and then gentle movement & got better, think I over did it in the move! I now have a massive cold with ear infections in both ears. Have antibiotics and feeling better than yesterday evening! However it’s the worst cold I’ve had In ages.
It just shows that us transplantees are a bit fragile and although we might think we are as good as before it’s not always true.
Anyway Je ne regrette rien! as Edith would say, it’s a wonderful house.
Love to all
Izzy xx

I’d love to hear more about your house and what you like about it. This is a support network for people affected by liver disease. If anyone thinks support means just talking about liver they need quite a bit of help. It’s good to hear from you Isabelle2 and I hope you will take it easy now and recover well from your move to your lovely house. 😉XX
It’s a beautiful grey brick house from about 1875which is called a Maison du Maître. It is totally symmetrical with 3 storeys. It has a large garden, outhouses including a stable and has v nice cream brick detailing.
It feels sooo grown up and was half the price of our parisien suburb home!
