hi just to let you all know as haven't posted in over a year husband had tp on 4th october worst and best time of my life we are getting on well and we soon got used to travelling to birmingham thank you for most of your replies and good luck to everyone on here for the future

It's just around this point when you can sit back and say Thank God !

It isn't an easy journey in the beginning for most going through a liver transplant!

My husband had 3 over the course of 18yrs

He's had a long journey but has been fine for the last 7yrs.

Great to hear your husband has turned this very crucial corner and you can move forward to have many happy healthy years to come.

Hi ThreeSmiles I can't complain really!I'm doing OK..I have developed a few small varacies but my cirrhosis is stable and I'm hoping that the next scope in june shows they are gone..I think I got treatment just in time as I started to get a lot of end stage symptoms of constant nose bleeds and bruising plus things were going downhill fast just before treatment.

4yrs later I feel much better and hopefully it's all behind me now..still go for my 6mths scan and bloods but apart from that not a lot to worry about anymore..and in time hoping that there will be some reversal of my cirrhosis.

Sounds good. You must be doing lots of things right. Glad you got it caught early - not many do I don’t think! (I didn’t 🙂 - well I can smile now - 17 months post TP 👍)
