Well, we have an Open House tomorrow. Vast offerings of food and non-alcoholic beverages. I will be busy today. BUT just now I have a comatose dog on my lap so just chillin’. Four stone of dog is not easily moved. And, tomorrow I am switching the broadband off because one of my (many) bugbears is visitors clinging to their phones as if their lives depended on it. Even my teenager knows better...

But, love to all of you for your honesty, humour, reality, support, advice. 2020 will be a good year and I want you all to be here with me.

That will be be my son! We had one of those moments in summer. His official girlfriend (Caitlin) was here for a barbecue when someone asked where he had been trucking to.......Cyprus. Oh, female friend who is not a girlfriend (hmm) happened to be on holiday in Cyprus. Oh dear. And, Melissa, the not girlfriend was refusing to go to the ice-cream parlour in Cyprus because it would be like being unfaithful! They go to the one in Tenerife. Oh the trauma of being a teenager and the sheer delight that the opportunity for mickey taking is handed to me!.,

That is so funny Debs about the teenagers! Glad to say that those sort of complications for us are gone - children now 35-40! But GD#1 is 16! So we do encounter some of the “fun” when driving her around - that’s what we (me!) oldies do don’t we (me!). .....

My big boys are 27 and 29. Aiden was planned but unexpected! Blue line cropped up on my 40th birthday. No girls for Aiden just now because A levels are far more important. Except Melissa, Leah, Lauren. Just friends........ Love my boys. xx Not sure I could do girls!!
