My Special Friend

26 months post, and still struggled to write my letter. I decided to put what I wanted to say in the art form. The sky shows the alignment of the stars above the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary the night of my transplant, along with a poem I wrote. Had it printed up and about to send them off to the co-ordinators for sending on, hope my special family likes it, and understand I am thinking about them even if I can't write?

Your poem encompasses beautifully everything one could possibly say. I have no doubt it will bring comfort to the donor's family.

Great idea, lets hope it comforts the donor family, I know how you feel its hard to say in words what someone has done for you.

Dear George

Firstly thank you for sharing your wonderful thoughtful message to your special family!

Secondly, I'm sure your special family will cherish your message within there hearts for many many years to come!

I wish you and your family and friends a Merry Christmas with loads of happiness and good health for many years ahead!,

Love Trish 🎅🎁🎄💗

George,

What a wonderful way to show your appreciation to your donor and their family, for their special gift to you, very emotional.

Thank you everyone, wasn't totally sure that I should go this way, but now know it is the best way for me. My local printer has ran off 6 copies for me (size A2) , so I can have one, another for the Transplant Unit, a couple for my donors family and a couple spare. The nice man wouldn't take payment either. A nice Christmas gift from another stranger.
