Dark brown raised spots

Good morning all, hope you are all having a good day.

I have a burning question for many days so finally putting it down to you guys. šŸ˜” I have these raised small brown round spots which have been just appearing one at a time for probably past couple of years. Mainly on my legs. At first I didnā€™t think much about them. Now I have several and found them a bit of nuisance. Have seen the dermatologist, she said they are harmless. I have one which is a bit painful so she said that they will removed that. This one is slightly bigger in size. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same. If so, were you given anything for them even any explanation. Thanks in advance

Hope

I think they look like moles!..My husband developed lots of these on his back..the doctor removed some by freezing them off!

But to be honest the best thing to do is get referred to a dermatologist to get a proper diagnosis as on this site we are not qualified to diagnose any conditions.

Thank you ballie52, I have seen the dermatologist she said they are harmless. But they only started after liver issues. I donā€™t think she said they are moles. She gave them another name which I canā€™t remember. I was just interested if anyone else has got them and have they been able to get rid of the.

Thanks

Hope

Hi hope my husband has had lots of these almost identical moles develop all over his back and arms ..I actually forgot what they called them.. but he also was told they are harmless..he did get the larger ones frozen off as they were raised..he still keeps getting them but has been told there is nothing to be concerned about..But I think you should go back to your doctor as you might need to get a second opinion if you are worried about it.

Hi Hope

This is quite a good site (see below link) for spots I think - but you have probably already seen it or similar.

I had brown/red spots and they are apparently Actinic Keratosis - but these are scaley and rough - doesnā€™t look like yours really.

I mean the thing is none of us on here can possibly hope to diagnose you unless of course we have had the exact same looking thing. Even then you really go back to the Dermatologist....

Hope you find out more šŸ‘
