Hi all you lovely people, has anyone’s hair changed colour since Ltx.

Not sure if it’s meds or Ltx, but my hubby is now 71/2 months post, and his hair is going dark, usually grey nowadays !

Hello, my hair also grew back a lot thicker! My handwriting has changed and I suddenly began drinking tea and cofee which I'd never drunk in my life! All very odd?

I have loads more. Might simply be cos I’m healthier but my hair is much thicker.

Mines just been falling out! More rapidly now than before I’m sure. Although it could just be age 😁.

I hear eating more eggs are great for improving your hair condition and thickness which you can read up on the web, however it could be that your getting older like us all!

You did mention falling out! Is this daily or in clumps, if so, then I recommend you see your GP as you maybe lacking in vitamins

Take care and keep in touch on this subject

Oh my gosh! Yes, I was thinking of posting on here about my new hair.

My hair is now very curly when it used to be wavy. It's nuts right?

I treated my Hep C with Epclusa and since my hair has had so much more curl.

My hair fell out after Tx. Just lots more on the brush every time I brushed it. Thinkj it is a recognised side effect of the meds (Prograf & Azothioprine) . It now growing back (I'm a year post-op. No change in colour or curliness though. Maybe a little whiter but that could just be age.

Hello,

One of the side effects of my immune suppressants (Ciclosporin) is increased growth of body hair. I guess it might be possible that this could also extend to the head as well.

I'm 23 months post transplant and I feel like my hair has receded just a little bit at the front. I guess that's natural at 49 years of age and the medication that I'm on. I'm definitely someone who wants to live with as much hair as possible. I know it doesn't bother some people in the slightest but it's always bothered me!

Sadly still at the stage where it’s all falling out. I’m hopeful that in time it’ll start regrowing and if it’s dark or curly that will be a bonus 😃
