Sounds like you have Ascites - fluid in your stomach. Has this been mentioned by your Doctor? Coffee has a diuretic effect so probably eases your symptoms slightly. I would speak to your liver doctor about the possibility of going on diuretics - they helped me. This may be possible but depends on things like the condition of your kidneys.

You do need to speak to a doctor as can only say what helped me. Hope you get some resolution - that feeling of your stomach being bloated constantly can really get you down.

Thanks for the reply

No ascites was seen on ultrasound...So probably I don't have that.

You wouldnt have ascites with stage 2 fibrosis anyways so I wouldnt worry about that brother. Liver disease and gastro issues go hand in hand. GERD is one example that is very common with liver disease. Do you find it hard to breath at all, like you cant inhale all the way? Does your stomach feel like you do when you havent eaten in a long time or like it feels when you've eaten to much at once?

Not what you're looking for?
