Hi, I haven't been diagnosed with anything byt I get alot of liver function tests done. My last ones were Ggt of 212 then it went down to 151 and then 152 month in between tests. The doctors are saying this is jormal for me but I don't think so as I'm tired all the time, my memory is terrible especially lately and I get alot of pain in my joints etc. Can someone let if know if the doc is right in saying that my test result is normal as I don't think it is. Thanks

Oh I don't drink very often and they said I don't have a fatty liver.
Welcome.
Unfortunately, no one on the forum is medically qualified to assess your test results and advise. Only your own doctor will be able to properly advise you as s/he will have full knowledge of you, your medical history and background.
We would recommend that you make an appointment with your GP and discuss your concerns and symptoms, just say exactly what you said in your post to the forum.
We wish you well and hope that you make full use of our website to learn about keeping healthy and looking after your liver.

Hi Chloe10
Firstly thanks for sharing your concerns with us all!
I'm in the same situation as you with my GGT bloods going up and down! My increased bloods were picked up last July after a routine blood test for dizzy spells, aching joints , nausea and itchy skin.
Since July I've had CT , Fibroscan and MRI scans. I've also had endoscopy and ulrasounds plus monthly blood tests which Are still on going. . So far all negative except for the endoscopy highlighted I have a Grade 1 Inflammation of the Oesophagus
which I'm seeing my GP for next Tuesday.
Since day 1 my doctor and consultant have been pointing to the very early stages of PBC which I'm still being investigated for! My bloods are saying weak but positive for possible non acholic PBC!
My symptoms have now eased but can flare up at any time !
All I can say is try and talk in depth with your doctor and don't miss anything out!
I'm not sure what your diets like but eating healthy does really help and exercising too. I've found doing both have improved my lifestyle greatly and I now have loads of energy!
May I wish you all the best

Thank u 😊
Dear Chloe
I understand your concerns deeply as I'm in a similar situation. All I can say is try not to stress. I've already undergone almost every scan CT, MRI and other internal investigations and so far negative results. I'm still under investigation and currently still having blood tests until September when I see my consultant again.
The tiredness spells when they hit are awful as I cannot fight against them. The aching joints and pains are just as bad but they come and go now.
All I can say is talk to your GP, eat healthy and exercise in the meantime!
Take care my friend and I wish you the very best!. My fingers are crossed they find the cause of your problem.
Kindest Regards Trish
