Confused....

So i still feel brain foggy, unable to focus / concentrate and forget everything. And just generally rreally unwell at the moment. My QE appointment went fine, had another fibroscan before i saw the liver specialist ehich came back fine apart from very fatty liver. They went through all liver tests and they said my liver function is ok. Also saying he doesnt trust my old gastro endoscopy results regarding varices. He did get lots of blood taken for things like ferritin levels? He will arrange liver biopsy aftrr results. My question is ive read into this ferritin and low iron etc... the sympoms seem to similiar to liver disease. Could this be down to iron levels? Doesnt explain pale stools though. Hopefully hear back from QE with results soon

The consultant should set you up with a login.

The blood results are pretty quick and can normally be viewed the following day. You won't be able to view your fibroscan, but you'll be able to read any correspondence from the consultant, back to your GP, which I find is useful.

I agree with you Jim, this should be available to all.

I'm not sure how old you are, but I can remember when your medical records were a closely guarded secret which you weren't allowed to read, not that you'd be able to read a doctors hand writing anyway. Besides, all patients were regarded as being too thick to understand all the medical complexities of such things, we were after all just mere mortals.

Sorry Richard for late reply.. dont know where the evening has gone.. time goes by so quick its weird. They mentioned nothing to me about checking online.. just said he will be in touch soon... godknows how long that could be.. pressure feeling in my head is driving me mad..along with the crazy headaches everyday
