Holiday at last!

Nearly a year since hubbys transplant and we have finally made it abroad.Luxuriating in a 5 star hotel in lanzarote.£180 for annual travel insurance (insure with) so may not be our only trip this year but we have beem on a long journey to get here.

Congratulations being nearly a year PT, I was so desperate for a holiday about 6 months PT that we booked a holiday to Cyprus and used insure same rough price £180 for 10 days ! (Thought was expensive) anyway great holiday and well deserved for my wife who looked after me through the whole ordeal. We then went away after Xmas to Tenerife, that was me nearly one year PT used Saga and it was only £75 so worth trying for your next trip 😃

Good for you and lucky you.We had 3 years of further procedures until we got that far.

But now 7 years post transplant and doing well.

Hello, we were married in Cyprus in 2001 last year we went back to the Mediterranean Beach Hotel as my wife deserved a long hot holiday for putting up with me!! we used Travel Insurance 4 Medical, very good rates and all my problems covered.

Sounds similar to us, we went to lanzarote for Xmas for our first holiday since our son had his transplant last February. We also got an annual policy for a similiar price. Have a great time, like us I am sure you will appreciate it even more now.

That’s fantastic Dolly. You have given me hope now 5 months post TP and 4 years since a holiday. Also big thanks for insurance tip. I have been struggling even with the ones on this Site’s list - but I’ve got other issuettes 😁.
