If all other blood test values are normal then the usual reason for high GGT is drinking too much alcohol. With abstinence from alcohol GGT should drop back down to normal in a few weeks. If it doesn't come down to normal then other possible reasons for it being raised should be looked at.

what are you meaning by other things?. Did you have a fibroscan for example or was it just bloods, AST etc? As Edward said there can be other reasons for elevated GGT, virus infections for example, there are some nasty bugs around at the moment, but as previously mentioned alcohol is usually the culprit for raising inflammation marker GGT. Have you asked your doctor yet?. best wishes for thr New Year. m ,b. x x x 😊
