My good news today.

Hi everyone. I'm now 11 weeks + post transplant. I have been seeing a podiatrist roughly every couple of weeks (sometimes weekly) for the last 5 years for problems with my feet. Well today I have been discharged because my new liver has made an amazing difference to my circulation and therefore also to my feet. Podiatrist said my feet are 'too well' to continue going to the podiatry clinic. Also the district nurse called to re-dress my operation wound and my stubborn wound has now completely healed. Fantastic steps forward for me. Wishing all good things for everyone. Alfred.

OH YES !!! Amazing news, just fabulous well done ATG. I for one could not be any happier for you. Truly delighted and it has made my day!!

Watch out the world as ATG is back !!

All this and only 11 weeks reborn !! Wow, I am so thrilled...

Long may it continue, keep the good news coming, please.

Thanks Jaycee. Feel like going out and doing something completely crazy like buying a skateboard but think I'd better sort out the old back first! Plus I think skateboarding days belong firmly in the past for me. Can just visualize me coming out of A & E in plaster casts! No, I'll take up darts, like I've said before. Safer for me but probably not safer for everybody else, lol. Keep on smiling. Alf

Oh brilliant stuff alfred. So pleased for you. You should go out and celebrate. Oh no WAIT - don’t- you don’t need to go out to celebrate do you. Chill at home man and luxuriate in a bath - good for new feet and should be OK now wound healed. Double whammy 😁😊😌🙂👍😀😁😃😆😄😋

Good on yer

OOOOH!, so wish I could Miles. I can't have a bath until I can get myself up from a kneeling position but I shall be there before too long I'm sure. Might just celebrate with a pack of pom-bears and and a small bar of choc. Well it is a MILE Stone!!! Redfla.

Thank you Debs. I'm actually managing to get out and about now(despite back) in small doses, instead of just to medical appointments. Alf

Well done, it does keep getting better.

Great New
