Good news

I applied for my blue badge to be renewed about a month ago. I hadn't heard anything from them so I rang them today. I have been told that I have been given a blue badge indefinitely. 😀 such a relief. Now I just have to wait for the decision on my pip claim.

Fingers crossed for you too. My assessor told me it would be about 4 weeks to get the decision. I'm near Manchester, where are you? I assume there's different wait times in different areas.

Great news so very pleased for you and that might help me because I just got my reminder about my blue badge and I am waiting for the tribunal date for my pip and I wondered if it might affect it . Well done you 👍

The blue badge means nothing towards PIP. I am also at the tribunal stage, I have yet again been awarded 0 points for being a transplantee.

Although liver disease counts as an impairment under the equalities act 2010, it cuts no ice with both Atos and the DWP. Interestingly, if I worked for either organisation, by law, they would be required to make adjustments in the workplace. I am still trying to figure that one out?
