Hi M, itching could be due to internal or external factors. Liver problems can definitely lead to pruritus. Look it up. I always suggest alpha lipoic acid and milk thistle. Look into it.

When I had itching caused by liver damage, it was everywhere in my body and I mean everywhere. Is it possible that you have had a bite from an insect and that is what is causing it?

Not that it is but The itching being on that spot may be a bit psychosomatic. We hear of liver pain on the right side and that itching can happen in liver disease and roll the 2 together . Puritis caused by liver disease is typically all over the body
