Liver Troubles

Hi, due to see my local GP tomorrow about my liver. Had bloods done in the past which were abnormal, symptoms I experience are, dull ache on right side just under rib cage, itching (generalised) tend to get flushes. I had an ultrasound a few years back which showed fatty liver so I'm worried this has gotten alot worse.

Well, been to the Dr's and as I thought, very reluctant to do anything than more blood tests, it was 18 months ago that I had an ultrasound which showed nothing but fatty liver. I asked about my previous liver function tests, everyone has been normal barring the ALT section (sorry I'm not very clued up). The guideline they use is no greater than 41, in 2012 it was in the 200's, then my final test was 52. So it came down significantly, this doesn't concern my GP in anyway. Any recommendations would help? Cheers

What I did find that when I asked the Dr if a person with severe liver damage would definately have increased levels in there liver function test they said ofcourse. Reading through the different forums and people can have cirrhosis with normal liver function tests.
