Liver problems

Hi everyone...just a quick hi and explain my problem....i recently had a blood test to keep a check on my thyroid and that test also showed an elevated reading of 85% from my liver So 4 days later I had another blood test and those reading reached 100%! What's going on with my Liver?? I don't drink I don't smoke and although a bit over weight I don't eat masses of high fat or junk food the doctor is sending me for an ultrasound next Tuesday but I'm worried about theses results...i do have a tender area up the top right hand side just under my ribs so I think my gall bladder is inflamed.....any ideas/advice please....ps i itch like crazy at night too...i had no idea it was liver related....drives me crazy...in fact it's 1.40am and my feet are really getting me down tonight....thanks guys

Hi Lilyput55, We all get anxious of test of any sort, that's normal. As I write this I'm also itchy. Try not to get stressed to much, wait in untill you know what you are dealing with. I hope all goes well for you.

My Dr gave me fexofenadine 180mg for my itching and it does work for me xxxx

There could be lots of reasons for elevated liver enzymes though I have to admit I have no idea of any giving a percentage reading like yours.

Try not to use Google to self-diagnose - it's known for being very wrong.

I suggest you speak to the doctor who is dealing with you and ask for their interpretation of the results.

I had itching long before I had liver problems from a totally different condition.
