Liver Biopsy 7 weeks ago. Sharp attack type pain in liver after all this time.

I have no idea what is going on. I had a laproscopy to remove adhesions, check on a cyst in my pancreas and have a liver biopsy.

My liver was malformed and had adneomas on it.

I also had lymph nodes removed as they were enlarged and levels elevated.

After the surgery I seemed well enough, pain but consistent with after surgery recovery mode.

Over the weeks I have experienced intermittent pain in the liver (upper right quadrant). This is like an attack and is a definite 8 to 9 out of 10 pain level when it occurs.

I do have a little fluid in my stomach and upper thigh area since surgery too.

I didn't have this pain prior to surgery so am now, getting a little concerned.

Could anyone offer suggestions on what this is and what I should do?

Thanks

Klem

Regarding pain I have pain on my upper right above liver that goes into my stomach, I was being hospitalized all the time with them trying to find the source but was unable to. Upon admitting I was given Hydro-morphin that worked and they would send me home without medication and I would end up right back there until they finally gave me a prescription which I have taken for a year and half now. I could not get through the day without it, I started off with 1 mg and now I am on two mgs. if it persists go to family doctor but don't take over the counter pain medication as it will damage your liver.

Thank you. I will. So they never found a cause? I even have fluid forming in my tummy area in a short time. I am on a diet program which has me never gaining weight so its not actual weight gain. I read that by removing lymph nodes it can cause fluid in some parts of the body. I wondered tho if its something to do with the pain I am getting?
