Hey guys am sulaina I need advice on how to control the itchy skin problems got as a result of addiction of alcohol

Have a look at my last post above under BigSpuds. I know how that itching drives you to distraction, you can't concentrate on anything but that!

Hi Sulaina go see your doctor there are several antihistamines and creams you can get that they can prescribe that have little to no effect on you medical condition

antihistmins ---e45 itch releif--andbeleive it or not calamine lotion--anti his takes a week or two to start working IF

it works on you-- it doesn't on some people

Shall try these alt creams as my skin is getting dryer and sometimes a bit flaky. Anyway 1st post for a bit; been to both assessments and am now active on the transplant list so hopefully shouldn't be too long now, just want to get in and have the tx, will keep you posted, all my love to you all

Hello Sulaina, you need to see your doctor regarding this issue as it is unlikely to be just itchy skin that you are suffering. If you are itching due to your liver being unwell it is likely that you have possibly got advanced liver disease and this needs exploring further. All the creams and lotions in the world won't make that better but might just mask some of the itchy symptoms.
