Hey hey,

Does anyone experience a burnt mouth/tongue feeling? I've been getting it for a few weeks now. It might just be me?

How strange you mention Haribo! Last night I scoffed a whole packet plus Midget Gems & Wine Gums! Thought if was just me being greedy - which I was but they satisfied me immensely! I'm off shopping later for more and for some Magnum'so which I love! If chomping my way through all these sweeties keeps me off the drink, I don't mind!

same here. I still now only drink cordial that's been frozen. I struggle with my tongue. It burns its cracked and sometimes itchy? Sounds mad but I scratch it. 😕

I love lollies too, or ice cubes, crushed is better, but must be ice, I like ice cream but not the same as an ice lolly. apparently it can be a sign on anaemia which I am so I don't mind that so much...there's definitely worse side effects to have.

it could be something called oral lichen planus which is an autoimmune condition of the mouth. If it's really bad you can be prescribed steroid mouth wash but it needs to be diagnosed first either by your dentist or a visit to the dental hospital. It's certainly not life threatening but can be really uncomfortable. Do not on any account take interferon if you are diagnosed with oral lichen planus as interferon reacts badly with autoimmune diseases. I hope that helps.

Never had a burnt tongue or mouth thing going on, I do however get lots of ulcers and mouth sores, this is a symptom of the MPN-PV/MF I have. I hope you find a way of easing it.
