I have been summoned to the Royal Free having waited 18 months on the list my prayers have been answered and as long as it's not a false alarm my new life will start tomorrow. I have blogged about my journey so far and the next post should make interesting reading 1liver1life.wordpress.com

I had mine 3 weeks ago & am waiting to get home asap. It's a bit of a journey, different for everyone, but stay strong & you will make it to that renewed life.

Can't imagine how your feeling right now Ray. I'm nervously excited for you. I'll be thinking of you and your family today and sending lots of positivity your way for your operation. 🍀
Fantastic news hears hoping everything goes smoothly and you up and about soon. Slowly does it mind. Keep strong stay positive and smile. All the best. Xx
I'm new here. Best wishes. My very dear friend just had his transplant about 4 weeks ago. What I've learned is it can be very difficult afterwards. I hope it's smooth sailing for you. But if there are difficulties, just know that you can get through it, you can make it through whatever pain and suffering might come. Countless others have done it, so you can do. Even if it feels unbearable at times, you can still hang in there and make it. And then afterwards it will be worth it, because you will feel better than you have in years, and you will have a deeper appreciation and enjoyment of life.
