What were your readings ? You can get elevated liver enzymes from many things .medication alcohol . Few other things I can't recall . Your doctor should be able to give you note insight as to why .

Hello there,

If you are at all worried about your liver, the first step is to get some knowledge about how the liver works and how to live a healthy life and maintain good liver function.

The British Liver Trust can give you all the information you will need to deal with any concerns you might have.

Then, as millie09 said, let your GP or whoever diagnosed the gastritis know that you need reassurance.
